Highways

Villice Lane
A report was received on work carried out. The situation will be monitored carefully.

Grit Bins and Highways Issues
It was reported that the extra grit bin for the Wrangle had been delivered and filled with salt. Levelling was needed in order for lid to close.

Other Highway issues reported:
30 mph signs
Rectory Lane and Bickfield Lane– more work required
Bus Shelter – to be erected in the next 2-3 weeks
Triangle – The Pump
The Combe - Drainage

Herringbone Wall
A meeting with The Mendip Hills AONB will take place in October.

Planning

Solar Panels
An unclear response had been received from B&NES regarding solar panels. The Clerk to investigate further.

Meeting with Planning Officer
Councillors were disappointed that this request had been declined.
